The hall is a fantastic facility for the all the community to enjoy.

The following guidelines have been complied to help everyone enjoy the hall.

Thank you for looking after our building

  1. No smoking machines are permitted in the hall, they will set off the fire alarms.
  2. The whole premises including the patio, parking bay and outside area are non-smoking.
  3. When clearing up please ensure tables and chairs and returned to the same place so our regular groups can access their equipment.  Chairs should be stacked 8 high and be inside the tape area.
  4. The kitchen is fully supplied but we do ask hirers to bring their own tea towels.
  5. Please take all rubbish away with you.
  6. Please check the fridge, freezer and other areas are clear upon leaving the building.
  7. We ask that hirers leave the hall in the condition it is found.  Mops and brushes are located in the cleaning cupboard next to the ladies toilet. The cupboard must be kept locked at all times, a key can be found on the main door key ring.
  8. Unless the whole hall is booked for a private function the lobby area is a public area open to all.  Children are the responsibility of parents at times.  Please ensure children do not play with fire extinguishers, climb on tables or window ledges. Please leave the lobby area tidy, if drinks are split please clean with a damp cloth (all equipment needed can be found in the cleaning cupboard).
  9. When waiting for a class to begin please wait in the lobby area until invited into the other rooms by the hirer.
  10. Please ensure children are supervised at all times.
  11. Set up and clear up time needs to include in the booking time.  All hirers need vacate the hall by the allocated time unless an arrangement has been made with the manager.  Other users will often follow directly after you.
  12. If you wish to sell alcohol at your event please consult the facilities manager.
  13. The gardens adjacent to the hall are public open space and managed by the Parish Council.  A key for the gate down into the gardens can be found on the main door key ring.  Hirers are welcome to use this facility as are all members of the public.  Please be aware the gardens open out onto the road and young children should be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of the hirer/parent. Should you wish to use the gardens for an activity or events please consult the facilities manager.
  14. Please report any problems to the manager.
  15. ENJOY YOUR TIME IN THE BUILDING.

Thank you for all your help and support!
